Tenneco’s game-changing components and technologies work exceptionally well for automakers who assemble great products with extraordinary durability. But when something wears out or breaks, you want an aftermarket part that’s just as good or better. That’s the core mission of DRiV, led by Chintan Sopariwala.

Chintan joined Tenneco in November 2022 as part of the Office of Strategic Execution, spearheading strategies to enhance operational efficiency and accelerate growth. As of March 2024, Chintan serves as Executive Vice President and President of DRiV, leveraging his expertise to lead our business group, encompassing more than 30 aftermarket brands, including 15 with century-long legacies.

His former roles were with well-known publicly traded companies, including International, where he spent 11 years and held roles of increasing responsibility, including Group Vice President and General Manager, Aftermarket. Before that, he held roles at Ingersoll Rand and United Technologies Corporation.

He also served on the board of Magnum Power Products, a remanufacturer of diesel engines and components.

Chintan earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from National Institute of Technology in Surat, India, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from Texas A&M University.
