Mr. Nair is CEO of Anitar Investments LLC, a private investment company with holdings in the manufacturing and technology sectors. He is currently serving his second stint as a member of the Tenneco board of directors, having previously served on the board from 2010 to 2015 when he was the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Nair has more than 35 years of global automotive industry experience. He originally joined Tenneco in 1987 and assumed positions of increasing responsibility across various functions including strategic planning, business development, quality and operations covering all business regions including president of Tenneco’s International Group, where he was responsible for managing business operations in Europe, South America and the Asia Pacific regions before assuming the role as Tenneco’s COO in 2010. Prior to his time with Tenneco, his career included financial and operations positions with General Motors Corporation and the American Water Company. Mr. Nair holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Bradley University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He also has completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Along with Tenneco, Mr. Nair serves on the boards of O-I Glass Inc., Musashi Seimitsu Industry based in Japan and as Chairman of Sintercom Limited based in India. Additionally, Mr. Nair previously served as a member of the board of directors (as well as interim CEO) of Delphi Technologies from 2017-2020 and is a former board member of REE Automotive Ltd. based in Israel.
